Buried over 200 years ago, the time capsule recovered in Boston on January 7, 2015 was found in a cornerstone of the Massachusetts State House. This timeworn antique was buried by Samuel Adams and Paul Revere in 1795. Here are some fascinating things the conservators found in it:
- 5 newspapers
- 24 coins
- 1 silver plaque
- 1 folded title page
- 1 paper impression of the Seal of the Commonwealth
Hello there, what made you pick this as your first blogging topic? What I loved especially about this post was your choice of words, well done. If you had to bury a time capsule, what would you put in it? Keep on blogging!

We were learning about the oldest time capsule in social studies and the topic really inspired me. And if I had to put something in a time capsule. I'd probably put some childhood toys and clothes, maybe even an electronic so the people of the future know what our hi-tech devices were.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment Pernille!
